This is an amazing car! I bought this car from a Ford auction early this year. It accumulated the first 54k miles or so indoors on a chassis roller. The interior and exterior are in EXCELLENT condition. I would put this car against any car with only 10k miles for comparison and I think this would come out ahead. The engine remains 100% stock. I have upgraded the suspension and installed the SVT mufflers. I did change the rear axle ratio to 3.31 from 3.15 to give the car a bit more giddyup. While I was at it, I installed a new take-out differential from GT500 that we had laying around the shop. The car is awesome and this color looks amazing in sunlight. It gets compliments every time I take it out.

This car was a Certified Pre Owned vehicle and has a 100,000 mile powertrain warranty. Don’t be afraid of the miles.

Note that the pictures show the car with different wheels, lower chin, and brakes. I have removed those and put new stock parts back on. The car has new factory brakes and wheels/tires. Updated pictures shown in later post...

I know at Barrett Jackson Auction in Palm Beach they had Mustangs setup on Dyno's and were letting people drag race them ... maybe something like that was done with this car.

Sounds like it's been properly broken in, lol. But on a side note, if this was a mustang that ford used as demo's, really could mean that it's been meticulously maintained under the hood.

Actually if im not mistaken since you've dabbled around inside the pcm and flashed it for tire size, ford would still void your warranty due to a reflash.

Sorry guys, been away a bit...

Backstory:

I understand that the car was used for cooling testing at a tempurature controlled dyno facility. The car was not used for dyno tuning or run at WOT it's whole life. It was merely run through a series of long range tests that consist of heating the dyno cell up to around 90 degrees and driving the car under load to simulate real-world conditions (like driving up a mountain in California in June). It's an awesome car. I've been driving it for 7 months and it is perfect. It's biggest flaw is that the cruise control button shows wear on it (from testing). When I first got it, there was a little clunk in the rear. Since I had about 10 take out diffs and gears from other cars, I put a new diff , bearings, and 3.31 gear in the car (3.31 in an auto is like a 3.73 in a manual). Everything else on the car was fully serviced and freshened up. It was my personal driver so it got some extra attention. It's a great car.

The car is still for sale. HOWEVER, I have changed it mostly back to stock to get the price down. It has stock brakes, stock wheels, and stock front valence back on it. It still has the SVT exhaust, 3.31 gears and Ford Racing suspension on it. I still have all the stuff I took off if someone is interested in it, but the new asking price on the car is $21,800. The car now has 60,6xx miles on it. It is a Certified Pre Owned car so it does have the 100,000 mile warranty on the powertrain.
