Saw that, and it seems out of place for Ford. They've whored the shit out of all the others, why stop now.

my local dealer just got there first batch of new 5.0s in last week, i believe they got 5 of them. they have one fully loaded convertible left. also have 3 v-6s and one GT500

I have seen two '11 GTs here in NY.

I have been wondering (although it is a bit off topic) if there are a lot of 2010 GT500's left on the lots, and if dealers are beginning to discount them a bit with the 2011 aluminum block GT500s coming out. I would love to pick one of these up bc I think they are SOOO much nicer than the 07-09 GT500. Obviously I'd have to take a trade on my GT.

my local dealer has been sold out to the point that they were pre sold, not pre ordered. they have done like 8 5.0 so far. they have a bunch of 10's left. i have not even been able to test drive one yet, and i used to work at that dealer

They're not. But they just released the new yellow for mid-year '11. It's a metalic yellow. Pretty cool.

I live in a town of ~20,000 people and I've already seen two (GT) with temp tags. They currently have two more sitting at the local Ford Dealership. At the dealership about 20 miles away in an even smaller town they have 3 new 5.0's sitting outside with stickers ranging from $31-36k.

Yup!! I would be buying a 09/10 GT500 for that kind of money.. Sorry, that '11 is completely badass and i'd love to own one but for 38k-45k i would NOT buy it.. low 30s, high 20s is doable for what you get. Hell a dealer by me is selling a base 6spd manual 5.0 in kona blue for 28,900.. NO MILES ON IT

There is a $500 factory rebate. I'd predict that this rebate will grow higher (due to the economy). JMO.
