2013-14 tail lights on 2010-12

I bought a set of 2013-14 tail lights for my 2010. After installing them the turn signals are hyper flashing. Has anyone fixed this issue? And if so can you please walk me through the process or point me in the direction of where to get that information? I do know that resistors may work but on which wire, or wires and how many resistors per side considering the light has three sections. Maybe im overthinking this, again im not sure but the more I think about it the more im getting confused and im sure the fix is simple.

I don’t know if the 12 is different than the 10, I have the 13-14 taillights on my 12. I just plugged them in and had no issues. I just had to get the filler for the gap.

That's what I thought too. I ordered these and they're supposed to be plug and play but I'm getting hyper flash for my turn signals. I love the look of the 13-14 tail lights on the 10-12. I have put s550 style headlights on the car and think the combination is awesome. Just hoping i can figure out how to get them working correctly or may just buy different ones.

The taillights I have are from a 13 gt, not aftermarket. I miss understood, I thought that yours were stock. You might have to use a resistor.

What is the "filler for the gap" you mention? This idea intrigues me

Got it from AM. The 13-14 taillights fit but there’s a gap at the bottom. The filler closes the gap and makes it look better. If you zoom in on the picture, you can see the filler. Especially on the passenger side, there’s a white dot.
