2013 base coupe with sync to 2012 gt500 nav

I have a guy wanting to trade a 2012 oem gt500 nav system for my cat back and x pipe. Will this be a direct fit? Will I need anything else to install this? Will everything work? Do I have to get anything programmed? I don't want to get the shaft on this deal.

Unless your car has the nav system already, you can't put it in afterwards.

The cars that have the navigation system are completely different internally.

-Dual climate control
-Vastly different wiring harness

I've looked this subject up multiple times since looking into a Boss 302 I wanted to put a OEM nav head in and I've pretty much convinced myself for the money and time it is not worth it.
