2013 GT order question...

Has anyone ever been able to order a NON Boss Mustang and request/pay for the Boss steering wheel to be installed on thier car vs the leather wrapped steering wheel with radio and cruise controls?? If so what did it cost you? I just ordered a 2013 with the Recaro's and would love to have the Boss Steering wheel added as well.

you'll have to do that through the parts dept at the dealer.

Or just order the Boss steering wheel online ($300 ish) and throw it on yourself. Instructions are super simple. You will retain cruise but need to get another module for the radio controls. American Muscle should have everything you need.

Not sure but they sould be able to. If someone has a stock wheel with working radio controls in it and they would be willing to pull it apart according to the install instructions and take a pic we would know for sure if it is another harness or a simple flash. But I'm gonna do some searching to see if I can figure it out.

don't see why not. our base 13 coupe has steering wheel radio controls for the non-shaker radio.

Hmmm. that's interesting. My 12 base has no radio controls.

The base 300A equipped car quick car does not have steering controls to the best of my knowledge?

The 11-12's did not get the steering wheel option for radio controls on a 300a car. All 2013's come with a version on the radio controlled steering wheel. Now if you got a 401a package or anything along those lines, your steering wheel buttons are laid out a little bit different to add the compass buttons to control the trac apps.
