2013 Mustang Competition Kit

Ford Racing is now offering a competition kit based on the 2013 Mustang:

Seems like a better option than using a salvaged car and not as much work as a body-in-white.

I wish it had a VIN. If someone invested a lot into a 2005-2009 and wanted an updated look.......this would be great. I wish it could be registered at least as a kit car or something to allow street legal driving.

You could have tagged as a kit car, Fairly serous state inspection, then the state gives you a special Vin. Same as titling a salvaged car.

I'd be willing to bet that Ford produced a shit ton of these 2013 bodies in anticipation of a shit ton of orders for the complete Mustang... Guessing the orders didn't pour in as hoped. Definately a great deal For someone wanting a 2013 but needing time to build it. You would hard pressed to build a complete GT for the price of a Base GT.
