That looks like a Mitsubishi in the nose and the current car in the rear quarter. I don't think that's it. Maybe the general shape is close,but that's about it I think.

the Evos was the concept for the Fusion. they already said the Mustang will be smaller. that's just somebody's photoshop of Evos lines on a s197.

I definitely think that is someone playing with photoshop... that being said, the First Gen Mustangs started small and got huge. Gas and Emissions regulations went through the roof and the Mustang went from a Land Yacht to a Pinto GT. I sure as hell hope we aren't going down that road again...

the general shape is not to bad, nor are the headlights, but that grill looks like complete ass and totally out of place in there.

That's basically the 2013 Taurus / 2013 Fusion grille, with foglights and a pony emblem added. So this would make three new Ford cars that look like complete ass.

I've seen several "sources" that said the next Mustang will not be a retro-ish design at all. Still a lot of retro touches in this one, though.

without the pony and fog lights IMO it looks decent. I think the 13 Fusion and Taurus look great for sedans, but that style grill does not belong on a Mustang
