I think he started roughly 5 years ago. Started doing DE, then TT for a year then moved right into W2W.

Cool! Yeah, maybe I had better do some TT before going w2w. I used to race dirt track stock cars, but we banged on each other a lot! I think that's frowned upon in NASA! LOL

I was looking at the rules a couple of days ago for AI and AIX, is the weight a minimum of 2700lbs or a maximum of 2700lbs?

Does he happen to have a build thread or anything? I wouldn't mind reading through it.

I'm guessing, but its all based on power to weight ratio, so, I dont think there even is a max. weight. It would be min. weight with X amount of HP. Although AIX might even be unlimited.

I think Chris Griswolds car has something crazy like 800hp

That is the min for AI and for most of the mustangs its 9 - 9.5 lbs per HP depending on the year. AIX is pretty much same car with unlimited HP and wheel width up to 13" with no mandated tires.
2nd is really good! I wonder if they put the 06 in with the coyotes?

yes minimum is 2700 but there is no max since it goes by HP to WT.
AIX rules are mostly open with a dew minor rules

That was some nice driving!! It was a lot of fun to watch!

I have been thinking about trying to get into AIX when I can become a better driver since that is the only class I would be able to race in at my power level, I don't think I would ever be competitive though.
