255/45R18s on stock 18s

Is anyone running 255/45/R18s on the stock 18 inch bullitt rims? Comments/complaints?

I have that size in my fronts "Fanblades" stock rims, and since both are 18x8 you wont have any problem at all

stock 18s are 18 x 8.5 the 255/45 fits well, I run them on the front without issue

actually, ford stretches the tires from the factory...the 255/45/18 belongs on an 8.5 in wide rim...and the same with the gt500, the 255/45/18 on there is stretched, as a 275/40/18 belongs on there as far as the width of the rim goes...so honestly you are just putting what belongs on there

ford did stretch the tire for a reason though...due to the larger side walls on the new mustangs, stretching the tire allows for better steering response at the cost of a small amount of grip...

you will slow down the steering response slightly, but you will increase the peak grip overall and actually you will also increase the ride comfort too
