only thing i have to add is if its installed right, they shouldnt whine.

Absolutely. there are so many garbage most about motives being 'bad' gears. In fact, motives are very good gears and ANY gear 'whining' is 100% install issues...period.
The reason you hear less about the FRPP gears is only because they are more forgiving. What I mean specifically by that is that they have a much larger installation room for working. They may not 'whine' - but they mot be installed great either. The motives require a precise installation or they will whine. That certainly doesn't mean they are 'bad' - it simply means they require an installer who knows what the hell is he is doing. But when it comes down to it - don't you want an installer who knows what he is doing?
Seems stupid to choose a gear based on the lack of skill level of the installer putting them in...lol
