You might be able to do a 4r70 for $2k if you totally ninjia the classifieds.

I have been looking into a th400 though. The more I have a second car to drive the more I think with the right stall and gearing, the stang might be doable for occasional street driving on a th400.

For events that are far away I'll just take the money I saved doing a th400 instead of some other crazy trans and buy a trailer.

I drive on street more than track not sure if that will change. I was hoping a 26 spline input and live with 3650 but I'm not sure a budget driveline will actually be cheaper if it gets faster. The 6060 would be a better long term investment
