I have a red car
IMO a Mustang that is anything other than a 2-door coupe or convertible isn't a proper Mustang.
Ferrari, Aston Martin, and Porsche went down the rabbit hole of building 4-door sedans with elements of the 2-door coupe styling, but they ended up with 4000lb luxury land barges (albeit rapid ones) that sold in small numbers.
We live in an age where small economy cars and crossovers are the most popular in boring shades like white, grey, silver, and black. In the US, gas guzzling large pickup trucks and SUVs remain popular despite all the moaning and groaning about gas prices. Sadly the market for fun to drive 2-door sports coupes and hot hatchbacks in bold colours has shrunk beyond recognition.
It's up to people like us who still have a passion for cars to keep that market alive and kicking.
