I've done one deal with Chris..can't remember what it was. I seem to recall it going smoothly so I would have backed him on most anything. Then I read this thread and I'm just amazed.

When I first started doing my LED conversions...I PM'd Kimmer and asked permission. He was shocked that I even asked stating most guys (like Chris) just start selling thier products without ever getting or paying for vendor rights or priveldges.

I hope this experience does not keep other members from dealing with guys like me who are just making money on the side for mods. I'm not a business nor do I have a boss (excepte my wife...haha)...but please don't take the actions here as the norm for site 'vendors' such as myself. We little guys need the support of members also.

I hope everyone get's their plates and I certainly hope Chris gets his stuff together. I was planning to do business with him when I do my stick to auto swap...but I'm very apprehensive now. I hope PTC's business does no get hurt by this situation.

Ron, you have my support. In no way does one person have anything to do with another. He made a choice not to be honest and now will have to face the music, so to speak. If i ever get extra cosmetic mod money i know exactly who i am coming to, thats you.

This blows me away...knowing Chris for as long as I have on here and he has always been honest. I don't see anyone buying these in the future after this, but I hope like hell Chris that you make good on your word and either find a way to refund or get the plates to people NOW. We've dealt with enough classifieds bs lately, this is a complete sucker punch to me honestly.

I have to ask, how much do you 2 think (Kimmer and you) you need to make to PAY to sell stuff on here? I made $80 on those trunk panels. Should I have became a vendor? IMO no, but what do I know.

If you are offering a product or service for the sole purpose of making money...then it doesn't matter how much you 'think' you will make. You are paying for the priveldge of advertising on someone else's site that THEY pay for. They pay for it thru the money paid from vendors.

Now if you're just selling off odds and ends...or something you have an extra of...then no vendor fees should apply.

In my case...it was more of a respect thing towards the owner of the site.

Chris should have been paying vendor fees IMO.

So..how much money do YOU think someone should make before they are required or asked to pay vendor fees?

We're getting a little off topic here, but this is more positive stuff anyway. I will tell you this site charges way less than most of them do. Those just starting out can afford to test the waters without the huge financial output that some sites require. S197Forum is great and I'm happy to be here (where most members are helpful, honest people)!

Sucks you guys are having so much trouble. I know that it won't help get your plates, or in some cases refunds, but you guys that are having this much of a problem should hit his Itrader rating hard.

With a significant negative Itrader and links to this thread it should make it hard for him to do business here again.

Good luck to all involved. I hope you guys get some type of positive resolution out of all this.

One of the worst parts about this whole ordeal has been communication. You would think after he admitted he lied about shipping 7 times he would be in here more!

Ok guys, here's the deal. I simply have not had time to ship the plates. Between us being slammed at work, me being the only welder there most of the time, and the bad weather we had this week, no internet till last night, no cell phone service till yesterday, I am going to make this right.

I gave my girlfriend the money this morning to deposit in her bank account on Monday. I will issue refunds via paypal Tuesday night when I get off work.

Here is the list of guys who did not recieve plates that will get a refund.

August Fisher

Kent Kroll (I'll send you a set of stock plates back Kent)

Eric Ross

Navneet Sandhu

Adam Heichel

Brent Dixon

Shannon Lee wasn't happy with his, so I agreed to refund him as well.

I am sorry for all the lies, the mishaps, and the misunderstandings.

I completely, honestly screwed up. I know you guys are mad, fustrated, and upset with me. I hope giving these refunds will make this right.

I completely understand everyone's emotions, and words towards me. I don't expect anyone to buy anything else from me.

To be honest, I probably want be on here much to stay out of the way of everyone.

If you guys could, the guys on the list, if you could pm me your paypal addresses, the money will be sent Tuesday.

Apologies,
Chris

Paypal does take time to take funds from you're bank. Seems like it always takes 3-4 days for it to show up
