Back to the track.

That's f'ing awesome. Never heard of it until I was browsing through some youtube vids. Appears its the only 4 lane wide drag track in the US.

Yes, it is the only 4 wide track, NHRA has run the nitro cars, FC & TF, there 4 wide. It's pretty crazy. The drivers hate it as I recall. The fans love it.

That isn't the first 4 wide track. There used to be Detroit Dragway in the western Detroit area years ago and it was 4 wide. It closed in the early 70's I think.

Dragway 42 had 2 tracks side by side back in the 60's. They only run 1 track now but the old one is still there. There are youtube vid's of that one also. Pretty cool stuff.

I've been watching Pinks for a long time. The host has become a bitch full of drama. Acts like a fucking asshole. But the racing is very fun to watch, especially when they do 4-wide to help cut down on the amount of time.

IMO, Pinks has become nothing more than a semi-pro show. I liked it much better when it was normal, everyday Joes and Janes racing what they drive every day.
