6060 installed!!! first impressions

First off I would like to thank Lee from FORWARD PERFORMANCE He really hooked me up, and i totally rec him if anyone is looking for this combination.

Now let me get to my review. It is absolutely amazing. I love the way it shifts, and feels. It is soooooo smooth. I can wait to put a aftermarket shifter in it.

Now my complaint. i HAD 4.10S in the car, so i left them in. Well after driving around and getting on mustard quit a bit, I am totally dissapointed. the 3650 and 4.10 was a great combination. IMHO the 6060 needs 4.30 or maybe even 4.56s. I will leave the 4.10s and turn it up to 600 in the next few weeks, as Im prob putting my built motor in. I actually am still on the fence with if im putting it in, but we will soon see.

Over all Im very very pleased with the tranny, and I think the 6060 with 4.10s and 600 hp should be a monster in my car. My car is fully functional as far as suspension. and my car is lighter than most. I willl def let you guys know what my next move is.

Very nice man! Figured the 4.10s wouldn't feel as strong as they did in the 5spd. With the sound of things, if you have 600hp w/ 4.10s and that 6spd it will kick ass. Man all you guys kill me, i want to mod this thing so damn bad. Being a 21 year old with this car SUCKS, because it is a huge addiction and i can't feed the mod bug!

To the OP...you may be able to change the transmission gear ratios and keep your 4.10s. Just put a higher 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in it if possible. I wish I could get my hands on a 6 spd automatic for mine!

Hmm, I'm going to 4:10 with my t56 I wonder how that is going to be. The gearing is a bit different in the Vspec t56 though so we shall see.
