Dennis Chan says:
"I was warned big centrifugals were lazy, belt slipping, horsepower eating pigs. Not really the case, and in my application it was pretty efficient as the end of dyno runs only showed a 10-degree increase in IATs through an intercooler. I didn't get any belt slip, nor did we find the larger blower "lazy" - for me I'll stick with Vortech."
"When we ran into some issues, Vortech helped us. It's when things don't happen as planned and you run into a problem. You see the true colors of the Company. They aired stuff to us overnight on their dime to make things right, and never backed away from any technical issue and were forthcoming with any additional help or information."

I don't understand why anyone would want to run a 700 RWHP car without the added protection of higher octane. As bad as gas is from pump to pump, you never know what kind of "Real" Octane your car is really getting. There's a lot going on in the cylinders to just have putrid pump gas in the tank.

Why spend the money building a bad ass motor only to skimp on the small stuff, that can blow it up?

Just my thoughts, but what do I know.

I just want to know what is a safe level? everyone seems to say around 650rwhp...But I want to know how much boost, not necessarily how much hp

it is not just boost or octane. tons of other factors play as well. Temperature, Humidity, Timing, and more all play a factor. There are no set numbers that are safe. not to mention the added variables in the tune and who tunes it
