I see these are back on the market. Expected then to be a lot cheaper. They are not much cheaper than Race Stars.

Just got an email myself from LMR stating they were for sale again. Why would you expect them to be cheaper than RaceStars when in fact they are a better design? No more shank style lug nuts and washers....

If you compare these to direct drill dark stars there over $100 cheaper per wheel, that's alot to me! The wheel and tire combo is $200 more than I gave for just the dark stars with no tires LOL

that doesn't make it a better design, especially for the serious drag racer dumping the clutch at 5 or 6k

The shank going through the wheel, covering the whole stud is a much stronger design. Why do you think every single SFI drag wheel is made that way?

it doesn't take any longer to put a direct drill racestar on than an oem wheel.

Beefs right. I'm all for saving some $ but I really wouldn't fuck around with safety of a rim. And for anyone complaining about the direct drills have you tried the McGard lugs? I hated swapping my race stars. Till I got the McGard lugs

We have sold out of the first batch. I'm not sure how many other members here are running them. I do know there are a few more pictures floating around though.

If you could post an ETA on new batch and sizes available would be great. If my pig ever makes real powa, I will need some new wheels.
