The car is a 2013 auto with a 3C torque converter, o/r-x, drag radials and a Mike Rousch tune currently. Goals are around 600-650 at the wheels on a safe setup. The questions I have are regarding the beefcake special mainly, and the options to pick. I've done a few searches and don't see much - there are 7 whole threads with "paxton boss intake" for example in here.

1. Boss intake with the auto and paxton, worth it or not? What are the typical gains - or better yet if anyone has a before/after dyno of a paxton car with the boss vs stock intakes, that'd be even better.

2. Which intake option - stock airbox, JLT ($169) or vortech intake ($309)? Any measurable gains with these two setups or stick with the stocker?

3. Pulley choices - I imagine the stock pulley will get me in that 600-650 range; for a second choice, for a 700rwhp race tune, would that be the 3.6 or the 3.47?

Thanks in advance, can't wait! :D

AJ is right...that thread has EVERYTHING that you could ever need or want to read about a Paxton.

FWIW:
#1. Stick with whatever manifold you have. No reason to put an extra $500 for an intake that isn't going to benefit you any.
#2. Go with whatever it comes with free, build your own for $30 to have open filter.
#3. Go 3.6 pulley. You'll be able to survive with ID1000s and a BAP with that pulley.

I spent like 3 hours on that thread. it's impossible to find anything useful in it unfortunately. :(

That's what I needed to know. Thanks!

What is your fuel setup going to be? That is where you really need to concentrate as that'll be what holds you back as the blower can put you at whatever goals you want.

My car makes over 800 on a mustang dyno with the novi2200 so the power can be there

BAP and ID1000s, which from what I understand are enough to blow the stock block...

For sure that you can reach your goals with that. I never ran the 3.8 pulley on my car as I went directly for the 3.6 and was plenty happy with that, I would NOT suggest you go any smaller unless you plan on possibly running a wastegate setup.
