ABS Module causing misfire?

Hey guys, I searched around and didn't find anything too definitive.
In any event, I woke up this morning and started the car (08 GT) up to find a nasty rough idle. It's jumping up RPMs and bogging down, it's misfiring, and it almost sounds like it's backfiring into the intake manifold...? It has a popping noise near the back of the mani every once in a while. I looked around and noticed my ABS module was leaking and by the grime build up, looks to have been leaking a for a little while. I tried tightening all the hoses down and one moved a 1/4 turn. Put a whole 12 oz bottle of DOT 3 in, cleaned the MAF, and reloaded my tune. It is still doing it. The car has a MAF adapter and a cone filter, home made CMPD's (I doubt the filler fell out), an axle back exhaust, and a BAMA tune. My question is, could a leaky/faulty ABS module be causing this? I really don't feel like pulling the manifold off today.

No it could not. There's zero possibility. Sounds like a vacuum leak to me.

I am thinking along those lines as well, it is hard to find a leak with that intake making so much noise and the idle already running off. I torqued the manifold to specs when I reinstalled. I may just go pull the bastard off again and double check everything. I feel like it should be throwing a code for a vacuum or ignition issue though.

IIRC Taxman had a similar issue and it was the intake manifold, the gasket had moved when he installed it and caused a leak

Alright, figured it out. I went ahead and pulled the manifold and stumbled up an issue. My home made CMPD's had failed. All the filler plugs had held fine except the drivers side plug where the motor actually attached and went into the back of the plate. Thankfully it was one that could only blow out not in. I found the plug intact sitting on the bell housing. So let this be a shout out to all the guys doing the filler method. I used a two part naval weld epoxy (much stronger than quicksteel or JB Weld), prepped correctly, and allowed a proper cure time. Shit happens.
