ABS tone ring

I'm swapping my axles, gears and posi pretty soon. I'm just curious if the ABS tone ring is a common part that should be replaced?

You can carefully remove them from your stock axles, and put them on your new ones. I chose to go with new ones, reasons being. Saving time, not damaging them removing them. If I want to sell the stock axles they'll sell faster with the rings on. The new ones cost me $43.00 the part# is 5R3Z-2C189-AA
