I've been looking at strut mount camber/caster kits and with so many out there I'm slightly confused as to which one to buy. I drive mostly on the street but dabble on the track. But i also don't want to spend what i paid for my tokico struts & eibach springs either. any advice is good advice thanks!

Obviously the Steedas and Maximum Motorsports would be the two big ones, bug I've heard the J&M pieces are really nice and would save you a decent amount of money. While I honestly have no first hand experience with any of them, Steeda and MM have a great reputation for quality. I have J&M's LCA's and PHB, and have been nothing short of completely satisfied. I have no doubt there c/c plates would be of great quality too. I doubt you could go wrong with either.

On the other hand, if you didn't want to spend the money, camber bolts/kits from steeda or BMR would do just fine, but your left with a strut mount that would eventually fail

My advice buy yourself some camber bolts for $35 dollars. If it's mostly a street car switch the bolts at the track and lay it in as much as possible. spend your money someplace else.

I got the BMR bolts, but i cant make heads or tails of the install, and I dont seem to need them, I'll put them in when i get shocks/struts.

Is it true the 08/09 gt's have the much better gt500 mounts in them?

These look pretty good, I think I am getting them with tokico shocks.

+1 I have yet to see why you would pay $200 for the steeda kit when those work.
I ran those on my SCCA T1 car and they were perfect...

The Steeda HD strut mounts are nicely polyurethane isolated yet the strut shaft rotates on a set of caged needle bearings. The steering is precise but the strut is still reasonably isolated from the chassis. The Steeda mounts do not have as much camber adjustment as they claim though, 1/2 degree maybe 3/4 max. They also have changable spring seats for stock type springs or 2.5" ID coils. The Steeda mounts work, do not make noise or add excessive NVH to the cabin, well worth the money for a street and track tool.

HTH!
