Air filter for Vortech,..

Anyone have a fairly new good replacement air filter for a Vortech V2? Mine has seen better days. Or if someone has a link for a new one that would be cool. First one that comes to mind is a Kand N replacement? NAy thoughts?..thanks

Steedman I walked into an Autozone recently & found a perfectly fine replacement air filter that fit my Vortech V-2 intake... check it out on your way home from work today! I think it was about $30.

ok cool..I wasnt sure if autoparts stores wold have the right fitment..either too big or not big enough kind of deal..

Actually the aftermarket filters come with a few rubber "sleeves" in order to fit anything, but ours need no sleeve at all, just the largest diameter. You'll be good to go...

you can try summit also.. they have many sizes there.. I got a bigger one from them.

Ya, I was already on there. I am going to try the local parts store first, and if they dont have it, I will order one, probably Summit.. Unless a vendor on this site sees this, I would like to go with a S197forum vendor..

Is the supplied MAF from Vortech on their V2-SQ standard kit 73mm? I just want to make sure I get the right size air filter..thanks
