What kind of plane is that? I do believe that this is the first time I have ever seen this one. I can tell it is a RAF plane but outside of that, I'm not certain.

As stkjock said, It's a Hawker Typhoon. One of my all time favorites.

I was hoping someone would post this one.

Large formation ops are fairly rare and a gigantic pain in the ass to plan and successfully pull off. I've got buddies in this formation. Bravo fellas.
