I'm about to do the heater hose replacement (under intake), via the "remove the alternator" pathway, rather than taking off the intake. Thinking of just going ahead and replacing the 17 y.o. (116K mile) stock one, while I'm at it. Future plans for boost, so I think upgrading the stock unit is warranted, as well.
Anyone used one of these and, if so, is the upgraded wiring kit necessary?
