I know an SA from the same dealership that does a lot of work on the side. He installed a set of gears for me on a gt500 I had a year ago. I've been trying to get a hold of him the past week but i guess he's been pretty busy.

This island SUCKS for performance shops that are worth a shit. If you don't own a import here your pretty much up shit creek without a paddle. I've never had a issue like this that I couldn't figure out on my own or from the help of this forum.

This one honestly has me boggled, lol.

I REALLY don't want to give up on it but I honestly feel like I've exhausted all means from what I am capable of doing, considering its my daily driver.

Does anyone know what the cable/wire goes to on the passenger side motor mount? It was a real bitch to get off one of the studs when I removed the factory motor mounts to install the steeda motor mounts. Maybe it's possible that cable/wire has a bad connection causing this issue.

What are you using to read codes. It may have codes outside of the OBDII system. Also, does it idle strange with your other tune installed as well?

Should be a grounding strap. It is on a 3v.

If that strap isn't grounded properly or damaged, do you know what it would affect?

Trying to think outside the box and consider every single thing that could be causing it.

If I remember correctly, it started idling like this after I removed the hellion kit and installed the steeda mounts in the same day.

Anything electrical. IIRC that is the ground for the alternator. Intermittent grounding isn't good.

Are you sure you don't have a pinched or burned 02 sensor wire?

99.99% sure. All the sensor wires look fine to me.

Is there a way to check the voltage from the harnesses to see if they are putting out the proper voltage?

I would still think if a sensor wasn't functioning properly it would throw a code in a day or two. It's going in 2 weeks without a single code.

I've searched the Internet high and low and can barely find a single report of something that I'm experiencing that doesn't throw a code.

I know this may be a bit off topic but since we are talking about o2 sensors what is the reason that when people add LTs on the car and get the extension harness' they seem to fail. Since the front O2 sensors are wide bands and like Seer mentioned when they are faulty or not reading properly they trim fuel or go back to the factory fuel tables is that why some people have blown their motors with them?

its the degrading of the signal most likely is what causes it.

Hence why most 11+ GT500 guys if they cant extend their harnesses they run Raptor front wideband o2's since its the same sensor, just a longer wire.

The dealer called me back yesterday to tell that they would take a deeper look into my issue if I wanted them to. I took them up on the offer and dropped my car off with them last night.

They had my car the entire day and they called me at 5PM to tell me I could come pick it up. I asked them what they found. The service manager said "we can't find anything, it runs and idles perfect".

I literally stood right next to the SM and showed him how rough it idles. He looked at me and said "sounds fine to me". Had him sit in the drivers seat to feel how the car shakes, studders, and damn near stalls from the RPM's drop so low. He sat in my seat and said "I don't feel anything abnormal"

I'm honestly at a point where I'm beyond myself with this car.

So pissed off I can't even see straight.

You should get rid of it like the other 5.0s you've had.

Your 5.0 idles like every other one I've seen. From your logs i cant see anything.

Did you ask them to try the idle misfire remedy that you saw in that other thread? I would definitely compare it next to another 5.0. Maybe even get the SM to bring up a new 5.0 and compare the 2 side by side.

Your probrally right. I'll more than likely get back in to a C6Z. It never gave me a single issue. Only reason I sold it was because my wife and I had our son. Hes 7 now, so maybe its time to go back to the dark side, lol.

Put it next to another one and compare them, or switch your mounts back out and see what you think

I mentioned doing this same thing to the SM and he said it wasnt a good idea because he said all cars idle differently. BS

Same as above.

Thing is, you are describing non issues. How does the car perform under wide open?
