I was thinking...with my trufiber hood, I don't use the windshield washer fluid anymore (no nozzle holes on the hood). That being said, I know people have converted it to run methanol, but has anyone converted it to run as their primary (or secondary) holder of water for their IC??

I converted it to run methanol.

I don't know if it'd stand up the fittings needed to plumb it for IC pump lines. The meth pump uses a small feed line (3/16 if I remember correctly) and I still had massive leaking problems after installation. A whole bunch of black RTV solved that. :D

My point is that the walls of the windshield washer fluid tank are on the thin side, and the larger fittings may not seal or may rip through them.

I have a kenne bell, so mine is a bit different with the intake going to the passenger side, but i changed my IC tank and mounted a larger one where the original airbox was.

Why not build a sheet metal box the same size as the washer tank? That would fix any issues that would come up.

I am fairly sure there was someone on this site that had a custom tank built that mounted in the same place as the washer tank, but I can't seem to find the thread.
