congrats, that's a great looking car. i always wondered, how do they pick cars for magazine features? is it based off reader submissions? sponsors? something else?

well in my case a worker at the shop i had the car tuned at had just had his car shot and he was talking to the photrapher when my car was there and the guy asked him if anything has came through that might be worth shooting, he told him about my car. i sent him a spec sheet and a few pics. the rest is history.
congrats

any preview pics?
here are a few of the proofs. i have no idea what shots will be used

Your car looks good! Those are the best racing strips I've seen on a car.

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone!

honestly, I didn't want stripes on the car at all but when i bought it they had 0% financing and a rebate or two on leftover 06's (I got it in sept 06) they found this car for me and i wasn't sure if i wanted it cause of the stripes since they were painted not vinal. After i had it a while it seemed i couldn't spit w/out it hitting an 05+ with stripes. so i came up with the flame idea and had a local painter who has done some other cars w/ the real fire on them give it a shot. I also had him do ghost flames on the rest of the front end but you cannot see them in these pics but here is one. all in all im happy i got them now since i did the flames on them.

Thats bad ass! I don't live too far from you, I wounder if he could do ghost flames on a redfire car. Hmmm, its a thought but I think I'm spending all my money on a t56 transmission.
