My 2010 GT sometimes makes some " clunk " noise..while upsifting from first to second..or second to third gear.. not loud..but the sound is there..
Depends also of the way I depress the clutch. Hard/fast depress ...louder...slowly /smooth depress .. no or just little sound.
So when I checked the car, i put the transmission into the 5th gear, and moved the car back an forward.. for moving the car I used the rear wheels- while doing this I felt something like that : Imagine you roll a bearing..and it "goes over the top /peak ".. The rear wheel/axle shaft bearings are new, but the car has seen 70000 mls... so I am thinking about slightly worn axle shafts.
I have a set of Schaeffler "Axle shaft repair bearings" and the question is if someone here already used these type of bearings. Do they work.. or is it just a waste of time and money to use them ?
