My 2010 GT sometimes makes some " clunk " noise..while upsifting from first to second..or second to third gear.. not loud..but the sound is there..
Depends also of the way I depress the clutch. Hard/fast depress ...louder...slowly /smooth depress .. no or just little sound.

So when I checked the car, i put the transmission into the 5th gear, and moved the car back an forward.. for moving the car I used the rear wheels- while doing this I felt something like that : Imagine you roll a bearing..and it "goes over the top /peak ".. The rear wheel/axle shaft bearings are new, but the car has seen 70000 mls... so I am thinking about slightly worn axle shafts.

I have a set of Schaeffler "Axle shaft repair bearings" and the question is if someone here already used these type of bearings. Do they work.. or is it just a waste of time and money to use them ?

Never used those things. I wouldn't. If your axles are worn or need new bearings just replace them.

BUT, what makes you think that's the issue? I mean that would be the last place I would look while diagnosing a clunk. I'm thinkin more like carrier bearing or upper control arm bushing would be the direction I would look first.

Found new axle shafts at RA .. from USA Standard Gears . Complete Kit

Summit sells Motive Gear axle shafts .

I would first confirm that your axle bearings are failing. Once confirmed then any OEM or quality aftermarket (Moser, Strange, etc.) will work.

.. axle bearings are new ( Timken ) all rear end bestings are from Timken , and new.

Will raise the car next days , and wiggle at the wheels .
Because of the construction , there will be a „ play „ .. the big question is - how much play is tolerable ?

About the shafts .. The only option from RA is USA Standard Gear - all other brands do no have a „ russian steel free certificate „ ( no joke ) with that certificate RA does not ship to the UK / EU
