Thanks for the sentiment but $3K is not worth the hassle of going to jail. I didn't gift the money so I should have a shot at getting it back if he doesn't send/hasn't sent the blower.

I don't get too heated about these kinds of things. In my business, people are always trying to screw me out of money. I've learned to deal with it. And if I do get screwed out of $3k, it's not the end of the world. Lesson learned. Next time I'll use a credit card so I can dispute the charge if PayPal doesn't come through.

My biggest reason for posting here is to warn others.

So i come home. and Come to find out my wife never shipped it because the box was "too heavy for her". Such horseshit. So im bringing it monday morning. Sending it express shipping. and i will also be refunding you $150 of your money back to you for the inconvenience.

Going to make a public apology just to set the record straight with anyone else. Im a hazmat truck driver and im barely ever home. Last time i saw any of the people that say they know me, was about 3 years ago, and i just spoke to Sean (Ford20) for the first time in about 2 or 3 years today. I never texted irish in a long time either. So i dont know why hes saying i texted him either. When they knew me 3 years ago i was single and living with my mother. Now im married, living with my wife, and have 2 kids by marriage which i treat like my own. They are not biological, hence the age.

Now i am completely sincere when i say this, that i apologize to Joedls and anyone else who may be mad. But as Joe posted in a previous post. What i say is the truth, and i dont mean to ruin my rep here or push anyone away from trusting me. I completely understand where joe is coming from so I gladly refunded the money and the blower is going to be back up for sale.


As most know, i am, or try to be, a nice and honest person. Please understand that this is all a honest mistake. Sorry everyone.

He eventually refunded the money as requested. That counts for something. I don't see a permanent ban over it.

This. At least he made good on the situation instead of leaving Joel high and dry like other sellers have done to Members in the past.

A month would be good. It will give him time to straighten things out and be ready to make good on deals.

Now I'll speak in general terms; not about this case specifically.
Giving someone a temporary ban lets them know there are consequences for their actions. Knowing that if they make it right they can eventually have their privileges back, provides positive motivation for a guilty/lazy/careless/dishonest/mistaken seller or buyer to make it right. IMO It sends the wrong message to say we demand you make it right but you're screwed either way. I would certainly feel differently about a repeat offender.

I had an Item Sold. Agreed on a price.
I pulled the add and marked it as sold
after a week I had not heard anything, I know peeps get busy
But buyer said something came up and he backed out.
Bad thing is This guy waited till I made contact instead of letting me know he couldnt make the purchase.

Now I didnt trash him I just blew it off
But some of you may be Shocked that this buyer was well respected forum member
I will leave it at that.
