This doesn't really go here, but I just checked my email today and I was curious to find that member: AOnorato had his bank retract his funds for the Hot Rod Cams I sold him.

He has not contacted me at all before doing this and I am to believe that he is trying to exploit buyer protection system and try to milk me for $550.

Anthony if you are reading this you need to give me a phone call right away. I don't tolerate sneaky shit, and if you had a problem at all with the product, you should have contacted me before hand, not do this shit. I have never sold anything that is less than quality; I don't sell bullshit.

Cam is as straight up as they come, one of the easiest people to deal with that I've encountered in my time here at S197.com. Post up the bastard's contact info and we can all remind him that you don't rip people off around here.

3-4 years ago I did some work out of town for somebody I knew through a tree climber's forum. Afterward, he kept giving me the runaround on my money. After about 6 weeks of not getting paid and catching him in a couple lies, I shared his cell phone number with the forum. Within 45 minutes he was calling me begging me to make the calls stop and he would get me my money immediately. I told him they would stop when I got the money, I had my money in certified funds delivered by FedEx about 9am the next morning.

This is a very large community. I'm sure we have the ability to exert some influence when necessary.

Already talked to PayPal on phone and they said all I can do is wait. The woman said she would check all of his records for me to see if there is any negligent spending or other shit.

I told her what happened and she said "That's fucked up. Let's see what we can do hun".

edit: Rasmus, I saw that he wasn't online so far this month so I guess I don't expect him to see this. Even if he did have a problem, which I doubt there was as, he should have contacted me. I don't like being kicked in the nuts when the lights are out.

I'll update if I don't hear anything by later today and I'll post information.

In the meantime, it looks like the bank reversed the transaction, like he may have told him it was an unauthorized purchase. Onorato has still not contacted me after writing him an email.

Everyone has been busting my balls about keeping those cams, lol. I miss just standing behind the car to listen. I'll find something else later to work well with the whipple.

I think that it will work itself out. I do a ton of transactions on PayPal and have never had problems. This is the first though for me when someone had a bank reverse it.

Just get the cams back man. You won't have to tune for 20 hours because I'll just send you my tune which as all the driveability stuff worked out. Reason I spent so long tuning the car was the files we go from Whipple and SCT were really messed up (we called them to grab a base file and they had all sorts of funky settings in them).

I'm not taking shit back from this guy unless it is deemed necessary by PayPal. He hasn't responded to anything and still won't so I will probably just leave it at that. I plan on taking the car to JPC to get it dyno'd so I have faith it will all be good to go. I'll think about cams broadly, but if I don't get them now, I won't mind too much.
