Did any of you guys take the time to read my iTrader to see how my other dealings have gone on here? My reputation is spotless. I also send out free parts now and then. Cam, do you remember the shifter you got for the price of shipping earlier this month?

This guy, snowboarderwhateverthefuck, with ONE post, no sig, no avatar, and no iTrader rating, PMed me lowballing me about the stock shocks and struts I had for sale. They were listed for $200 and he offered me $100. I had them tentatively sold on a local forum and a few other members were interested, but his sob story about returning his car to stock worked on me I guess. I agreed to a price of $100 plus estimated shipping of $65 from NY to Cali. After I went to the UPS store and had them boxed for shipping from NY to CALIFORNIA, I told him a price of $165 would indeed cover shipping and the cost of the parts. He agreed and paid. A few days later he PMs me and tells me a bullshit story about how his girlfriend wrecked his car and he doesn't know if it's totaled. Fortunately, I hadn't dropped them back off at the UPS store yet. He asks for a refund, which I had no problem doing, but this was the 3rd time this happened to me on this forum by members with no iTrader rating, so I guess my ass was a little chapped about it. By now, all of the other interested parties found other parts and no longer wanted mine. I bend over backwards to give people great prices, sometimes even free, and I get burned more often than I'd like by unappreciative assholes. After this, I'm done selling on forums. He'll get his refund, but he'll get it on my terms and be as inconvenienced as he made me. I PMed him and told him he'll get his money this Thursday. He went ahead and filed a Paypal claim this morning, but it's after the 30 day period, so there isn't much that can be done on paypal's end. Like I said, he'll get his money, but he'll wait until this Thursday. He's more than welcome to fuck off until then.

Keeping the money and parts, no matter how chapped, was wrong. Should have just mailed the parts and let him deal with it.

Holy shit dude, I feel like leaving you negative feedback just for reading this. I sell a LOT of stuff here, and sometimes shit happens and the deal falls through. You have to suck it up and either sent what you've committed to sending, or refund their money in a timely manner. That's it. Holding his money hostage because you're pissed off at everyone is certainly not the way to handle it.

I understand that, I guess I'm just tired of being bullshitted and jerked around by guys on forums. I started a "pay it forward" thread on corral before coming over here to s197 (I used to be a big fox guy) where I sold extra parts I had lying around for the price of shipping. Guess how many guys burned my ass and never sent payment after parts had shipped?

So you're mad cause something happened to his car after he bought the items but before they shipped so still in your possession; and cause that caused you to lose potential sales so you're making him wait till it's convenient for you and want him to fuck off? Just refund the guy his money right now. Shit happens, no need to punish him when you still have the parts. Sure you lost a few potential clients but it's not like you're waiting for him to ship them back to you so that you can try to sell them again, you can attempt to sell them again right now

Do you think UPS boxes and packages parts for free? Do you think my time is free? How about the loss of a sale, is that worth anything? Like I said, my ass was chapped and I'm a little jaded after being burned, by guys on this forum especially. He will get his money, but he'll get it on Thursday.

Jesus Christ, is it me, or is this place being filled with degenerate dip shits?!?!?

How much interest do you plan on paying him since you've held onto his money since October? Do you think cash loans are interest free?

Nope, the loss of the sale isn't worth shit. It happens. Price you pay to sell used parts online. You'll always be lowballed, you'll always have people back out on a purchase.

However, this isn't one of those cases. He already sent you the money, and you agreed to refund him based on his "sob story".

Then, you decided to go back on your word, and decide not to do the guy a solid after agreeing to.

If you feel jaded about selling here, quit doing it.

Plain and simple, you're an ass here in this situation, and no amount of good transactions in the past or free hookups can justify welching on your agreement and holding onto his money for several months.

I know you sell a lot of stuff, I bought $2000 worth of wheels from you. How did that transaction go? I'm not a delinquent seller or a scumbag, just a guy who's tired of bending over backwards just to get fucked.

08VAPOR, I read all of your feedback, I'm anal about keeping a positive feedback. If i have a delay with shipping or something I will let the buyer know first hand, Or if i sell something on Sat and know I can't ship it till Wed I will let them know right. Seems you are somewhat the same way. The decision to cancell was up to you as the seller, But if you kept the stuff you should quickly refund the money. I honesty think maybe some PM's that were sent and recieved might need to be posted. This is quickly turning into a pissing match. The bad sellers thread is the first thing I look at before I make a purchase. So lets see this in black in white and see who is really blowing somke on this transaction. Just my 2 cents

It doesn't matter to me really, if it makes you guys feel like you've righted a wrong in your tiny little internet world, I'll refund the money now. For the millionth time, I guess I just got tired of being fucked. This concludes my time on this forum and especially the classifieds. I'll go get that refund done so you guys can sleep tonight.

NO! I want you to do what is right because you have been a good trader on the forum. You are the kind of guy we want. Don't let the bad apples sour you. Lesson learned...Just play it more by the book with future buyers.

Well, refund issued in the amount of $159.91 less paypal fees of $5.09. Feel free to release the tension on your collective sphincters and find a new target for tonight.
