To the original poster, for every person you ask about their feelings about the best tune, they will all give you a different answer. Do your research and you'll be fine.

Not sure why any other company would be mentioned in a thread that says BAMA on it.

The OP asked if BAMA provided the best tunes looking for advice on which tuner to go with. Why wouldn't other tuners be mentioned?

ummm no he didn't...
Thread title: best bama tune???
I am looking to get into a single tune, no big mods just a jlt intake and corsa axleback, I know they charge $150 for lifetime or $50 for one tune. Is this a good safe tune?
Until you stepped in and randomly talked about lund.. out of left field.
Little buddy do yourself a favor and get a tune from Jon Lund for your 2012. After doing a lot of research and speaking with Jon about these new cars that's who I have gone with for my latest tune. It will cost you $200.00 but it is worth every penny for the performance and the piece of mind knowing your car has been tuned by one of the best tuners out there. Your # 8 cylinder will thank you also.

I don't see where he asked about other vendors before that.

Somewhat true, but he should have been more clear IMO and asked which tuner tunes to keep all the pistons IN the motor AND warranties their work?:stir:

Guess that would have led back to the original intent

BAMA.:lol2:j/k

Thats whats so great about a forum you can ask about whatever you want and people can reply about what ever they want. Some people have had better luck with other tuners. Personally I don't think 'bama best tune' is a great thread title... whats a 'best tune'? Depends on what the person thinks about it honestly.

I have free Bama tunes for life but Ive considered going with a VMP tune simply because of all the great things said about them. That being said I am a lot happier with my Bama tune than I was with the dyno tune I had on my car. The only reason im considering a new tune at all is because I feel that my car can perform better than what it is and my gas mileage is horrible. I will probably install some new parts and have Bama retune me again (for free woohoo) AND ill datalog my tune and see if they can tweak it for me.

You can not go wrong with VMP. Justin is a stand up guy and knows his stuff. Also great to the guy tuning your car one on one.

I was merely stating that of all the tunes I've had, BAMA has superceeded my expectations with availability and performance of the tunes they put together AND service after the sale which is extremely important to me. If my reply offended anyone, I'll refrain from saying such from now on.

You're good, my friend!

You're good, my friend!

You guys work extremely hard to deliver top shelf tunes and then make yourself available to multiple forums and tons of other people so I'm sure the riff regarding tunes and #8 pistons gets old, along with alot of other stuff regarding the demanding public(me...lol) but you and the AM crew do an outstanding job of accomplishing this daring feat.

Hats off to you guys!:hi:
