I got your pm, and I sent an email with your Free Tunes for Life id #. Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help. :)

so still havent been able to drive my car, been a headache so far, took the DS off since i wanted to be able to tune easier, ordered the sct from AM and it arrived two days ago, so i place the intake back on, and upload the 93 performance tune, and it kept saying file was too large and was unable to load, but my 87 street tune would, so i loaded it, went to start the car and it was running like shit, shut it off, started back up and same thing, wouldnt hold an idle, so i just thought maybe it needed a sec to relearn itself so i drove it down the road and the CEL came on, checked the code and said it was running rich, made a call to AM and they had listed that my intake was the c&l race, not the street, no biggie, they said they would send me new tunes, but to my luck i cant load them due to vista, for some reason i cant get them to open and chris at AM told me that its a PITA with vista so i either needed to wait to talk to someone at sct tomorrow about it, or find a computer with xp, or windows 7.

so Ill see how it goes once its loaded and see if i miss the old out of the box 91 street tune from my DS, figures its my luck, last week i got a tank full of bad gas, this week a tuner that is unless...haha

I actually tried to see if AM was willing to update me a tune even though my last tune was for NA and now im boosted, and to my suprise, they are willing to.

They needed the strategy code from my car and i have been lazy to do it and its been 2 days since i responded. So an AM rep emailed me AGAIN requesting for the code. Seriously, talk about GREAT service. Im being lazy and they are being on top of things!

Nothing but compliments for AM and they have gained my respect through just a simple follow up :) Rare in this industry

This must be a new issue because I have vista and downloaded a tune in Feb and had no problem.

My prob was the first set of tunes were incorrect now I'm just waiting to get off work to see if the new updates fix my problems. Not saying the guys at AM weren't helpful with me, cause customer service is great, just hoping it's figured out this time so I can drive my car and see if the sct was a good buy cause the diablo was great and I miss it already. Haha

I had the same problem with my SCT X3 and Vista (on my wife's & my computer). I got in touch with SCT thru their online tech service and the person at the other end helped me out. In my case, it was a JUNGO driver under Device manager. I uninstalled it, reinstalled Livelink 6 and it worked. Hopefully this'll help.

Waiting on a reply back since Wednsday from Dann in regard to the Diablo timing window from 4-7krpm. The Diablo show % not degrees in this rpm range so does anyone know how many % equal degrees? The funny thing is the 2-4krpm window shows degrees in terms of change.

Seems like a simple request no brainer.

If you are at 30 degrees at WOT, 3.33% is 1 degree.

Thanks man!
The best I can get is 29* just before 5.5-6krpm up to 6.5krpm. with 4% added and it never got to 30*. Guess the car can only take 29* with the Diablo.

well got the new tunes loaded, went straight to the 93 race tune to see how it compared to my old 91 Diablo tune and i can say its much more touchy when taking off, however it still doesnt feel like it has the top end pull as my old tuner, hopefully in the next few weeks, me and a few locals will be making a trip to the dyno and i can fine tune it in, but overall im happy now, just didnt enjoy the week of headaches..haha

If it is not going any higher, your knock sensors may be pulling timing. Does it move if you add global timing? If so, add it global, then remove in the range you don't want to bump.
