Last night my boost a pump was blowing the fuses. I disconnected it then the pump ran fine. This morning went out and tested it and the BAP work fine.Hooked it back up and all is good . What would cause this to happen ?

Possible short in the power line? Bad ground? How many fuses did it blow and what amp rating? What gauge wiring are you using for the power and is run all the way from the battery?

I have 6 gauge all the way back to a power panel then 10 guage to a 40amp relay,10 guage to the BAP. I popped 2 20amp fuses its was the inline one one at the bap ,said screw it and bypassed the BAP and all was good. This was all at a car cruise with around a 1000 cars. Me with my trunk tore apart fixin shit very unhappy times.

Sorry that happened at a car cruise. I know that was frustrating with everyone looking on. Not sure what the problem could be. If it does it again, I'd try a different BAP, I see them used a lot with people switching over to GT500 pumps, etrc. If it still blows a fuse, it may be in the wiring.

Good luck, sorry I can't be of more help.
