Base door trim the same as Leather version?

While I can't drive my Mustang through the winter I've been looking at Interior bits for the dove to black swap. I wanna also do a reverse on the door card colors so mainly black with the leather in dove color aswell as the speaker ring to keep the CS style since the headliner and upper pillar trims are staying the same.

Now as everyone knows getting new door cards is basically impossible, but I found a very nice set of used Base Door Trims which don't have the leather on them and the black handles. The latter I can swap but is the base door trim the same as the upper level trim just without the leather and foam glued onto it? If so I could even avoid taking a nice set apart.

The center sections gaps look like they're supposed to be where the edges of the leather would be stuffed into aswell.....
Just wanna know if anyone had both and possibly knows it before I buy anything.

That appears to be the case on the door panels I have. Several years ago I pulled some red leather inserts from a junyard and one of these days I plan to adhere them to the regular panels from my V6.

That's great news! Makes it easier and cheaper.

It's not exactly the color combo I want since my GT/CS has the Dove/Charcoal Interior and not Camel/Charcoal, but yea esentially the leather part will be grey and the plastic will be black.
Just like the seats.

The door cards arrived broken... bummer..... but now I'm looking through the door cards parts numbers starting with 7R3Z trying to actually find the differences.

Whats exactly are the differences between:
Interior Upgrade Package B, With Interior Pack 2
Interior Upgrade Package B, Less Interior Pack
Upgrade Interior, With Interior Pack

Interior Upgrade Package B, With Interior Pack 2 seems to be in Shelbys and Upgrade Interior, With Interior Pack seems to be GTs with the Premier Trim but I can't see the difference between the two.
Is it something like with the console lower half where the Shelby version just has extra padding?
Also found a NOS door panel with Interior Upgrade Package B, Less Interior Pack for sale and also couldn't tell the difference to the others.
All of them have leather inserts, leather arm rests and upgrade door handles. What else is different?

Went through those already. I know IUP gives you the different door handles and the Premier Trim gives you the leather arm rest. And you probably have to look at 08+ since all the other came back to "5R3Z" part numbers

But it's not as easy as that because (mind you all of those are the fully black versions) there's 3 different "7R3Z" part numbers for the Premier Trim Package it seems like.
One part number has "Interior Upgrade Package B, With Interior Pack 2" the other has "Interior Upgrade Package B, Less Interior Pack" and the third has "Upgrade Interior, With Interior Pack" but they all look the same.

I only noticed Shelby VINs copied from AutoTrader always come to "Interior Upgrade Package B, With Interior Pack 2" and normal GT VINs with the Premier Trim Package to "Upgrade Interior, With Interior Pack"
Then I bought a set of "Upgrade Package B, Less Interior Pack"
They all look the exact same to me and I notice all the little details usually. It's just crazy how many different part numbers for door cards there are.....

Okay so I figured it out. Cross referenced AutoTrader Listings with FPG Catalogs.

Interior Upgrade Package B is just all the GT500s, which is probably the leather Handbrake handle, shifter boot and darker dash aluminum parts.
Since it's different part number on the door panels to the GT/V6 ones it maybe has some more NVH. Nothing Major.

Interior Pack 2 is GT500s "Premium Interior Trim Package"

So:
"Interior Upgrade Package B, With Interior Pack 2" is Shelbys with leather armrests (GT500 Premium Interior Trim Package)
"Interior Upgrade Package B, Less Interior Pack" is Shelbys WITHOUT leather armrests ("Base" GT500)
"Upgrade Interior, With Interior Pack" is GT/V6 with leather armrests (IUP and Premier Trim Package)

That means the one I bought thats "Interior Upgrade Package B, Less Interior Pack" is packaged wrong because mine has in fact the leather arm rest.....
