What size fuse do you have at the battery? That looks like an AGU fuse holder, so I would think the absolute largest fuse you could get would be 60 amp? Also, the 4 gauge is a little light to be connecting to the front. You can draw some serious current when starting the car, so I would suggest stepping up to a 2 gauge, or 0 gauge if you are feeling froggy, and putting a circuit breaker in instead of a fuse.
Times have changed lol 150amp mini fuse, with a pro series 4 gauge cable. Pro series cable allows me to keep it 4ga without any prob with current while starting. I used this stuff in my old car for 5 years with no problems, if something does happen i will change it out.
