06LLGT, I perfectly understand how VCT works and the advantages it has, That's why I don't like locking them out unless you plan on using it at the track alot.

My point was basically that is a lot of coin for the NSR cams for what you get. (bang for the buck)

Now, if you went with ported heads that's a different animal, But then when you add it up your getting into F/I territory as far as costs go.

Not knocking you are anyone it's just my opinion.

I thinik you will be happy no matter what route you go.

With my comp NSR stage IIs i picked up 60 rwhp. I also added longtubes, pullies, and delete plates at the same time.

NSR Stage II cams are what my dad decided on getting when he buys cams, I found out he didn't want to do heads, so the spr cam/ported head idea is scrapped.

He wants to do the longtubes/nsr cams at once, so I'll be hoping for a 40rwhp gain, 45rwhp on the optimistic side. I'd like to see 340+ rwhp on a Dynojet, especially SAE corrected.

John,
I really like everything about the comp stage 2s except for the loss of HP/TQ below 4000.
I really HATE!!! The hotrod cam sound and like a stock(ish) idle that the comp stage 2 provide.
If you can provide Dyno Graphs showing no loss of power below 4k then I would be inclined to drop a set on my credit card next week..

Dyno graphs are on our website. Sorry. I'm not on here everyday since I work at the Fire Dept as well as BBR
