Since you guys seem to have been there and done that, I am presenting you with an opportunity to see how good you really are.

In a few weeks, when the weather finally warms up, I will be going to the track for the first time with this car. I have raced many times before with my 69 Mach1, so I'm not a first timer...btw

I have not yet run my 06 Mustang GT at the track, but my mods are not all that crazy, so what do you realistically think mine would run?
Here is all I have done.
2006 GT, 373 gears, frpp stingers, C@L Intake with a bamatune 91 octane race tune (Diablo prediter handheld), gt500 tires and wheels (maybe some DR's if I find some by the time I go to the track). I have the automatic...btw. Oh and I am in Iowa, so who knows what the air here does for me.
Pretty much that's it..
Thanks...Kevin

Pretty tough to say without knowing for sure what tires you will be running. Do you have any suspension mods like lca's? wheel hop may be a problem.

8.80's in the 1/8 mile and maybe low 14's in the 1/4.

you could go to the "official" 1/4 mile ranking" page, look in the cars that are running 14 something, and check out the mods on those cars. Thats what I'd do if I needed the answer you are looking for.

You should be able to run low to mid 13's with those mods; assuming where you are in Iowa is at sea level. With DR's, maybe better. If it is your first time at the track, you may not see those numbers until you get some practice launches.

hahahhaaa... It's really to hard to say. I was being optimistic. LOL

The exhaust realy wont do anything for you. The only real go-fast mod is the C&L. My car stock went 9.3 in the 1/8 and 13.9 in the 1/4. Once I did the CAI, and UDP's. I went a best of 8.9 and 13.5.

I would think with an auto, somewhere between 9.1 to 8.9 in the 1/8 and 13.5 to 13.3 in the 1/4. That would be a "best case". If you get 93 oct gas and bump the timing 3 or 4 degrees the faster numbers I gave you are more likely.

With DR's and some suspension work, you'll be in the 12's:thumb:

Or get some 15" jegs all the way around, get mid 12's:clap:

Mr. marcspaz

What mods have you done to get into the 12's?

Steeda UDP's, C&L CAI, Shaker CAI, FRPP Shortie Headers, FRPP High-flow Catted H-pipe, Magnaflow Cat-Back, FR3 Suspension kit, and one hell of an agressive tune on VP 103 Unleaded.

Problem is about 8 months ago I put some cams and LT's on it, broke a bunch of stuff (suspension, clutch, rearend, etc.), and haven't had a good run since. Hopefully all that is fixed and I hope to dip much deeper into the 12's this saturday, but on 93 instead of 103.
