My car is lowered one and a half inches with BMR springs. I have SR struts and shocks in it now and although the ride wasn't bad when I first installed them 3 years ago, it bottoms out and is very harsh now. I'm looking for a strut shock combo that will give a smoother ride with the car being lowered. Not going to road race it or anything just spirited street driving. I realize when you lower a car the ride is going to get changed, but not happy with where it is now.

I have Eibach pro kit springs with Koni Oranges in mine and it’s a very comfortable ride, especially for the price. Also very well controlled. I also have the FRPP joust bump stops, but trimmed the rear stops slightly to help the ride a bit more, but YMMV.

On a prior car, I had Steeda Struts and Springs and it was noticeably firmer than my current setup.

I don't know if there's such a thing as a "good" ride on one of these...I have had BMR's springs for several years, and they do ride better than the Motorsport P springs I had on it before, it's still a rough ride- but then again our roads are also terrible.

Have your trimmed your rear bump stops? You kinda have to with the BMR's or it will hit them all the time.

BTW I have Koni STR.T's all around (oranges, I guess, they are orange). I just had to replace both fronts because I blew one out on a giant pothole last summer.

I did trim the bump stops.

If you have the OEM sway bars change them to bigger ones. With bigger sway bars you are able to drive softer dampening. I have Tokicos and was able to open the settings to soft after I installed the sway bars from a 2014 GT. I got them cheap as take off parts. In general get fully adjustable shocks/struts. (I do not recommend the Tokicos btw) Fully adjustable are expensive but every pot hole pays it back.
