Hi all, just installed a BMR tubular k-member. Everything seems fine except now I have a vibration at 2000 rpm's. It's motor/trans related as when I push in the clutch, it's gone (so not driveshaft related). I also installed long tube headers at the same time. I know the motor mounts on the BMR k-member will transfer more vibration so I am pretty sure it is that. I just wondered if anyone has installed a different bushing or anything to try to reduce the vibration? I can live with it if I have to but just wondering if there is anything I can do. TIA

Thanks for an interesting issue. Separately (though similar), I just ordered and received the Steeda G-Trac brace to install on my GT 2008. I intended to install it to further ‘tighten up’ the vehicle. However, now I am a little hesitant to install after reading two reviews on the Steeda site- two customers comment about vibration issues around 1-2000 rpm. So, I wonder if there is some negative, unexpected consequence to either your item or the Steeda G-Trac brace sitting (uninstalled) in my garage. Best wishes, Adrian

I have been selling Steeda products for years. Never heard of that with a G Trac before....Unless the install was improper. IE, incorrect bolts not tightened properly.

Thanks for your words there. I’m really happy with my 4 or so (already installed) Steeda items. Though as noted, the 2 detailed reviews on the Steeda site cautioning re vibration at the 1-2,000 rpm range with the G-Trac item has motivated to explore the issue further. I’m after max ‘tightness’ though want to avoid any odd NVH.
