I have a Larson Escapade that I just finished assembling the motor, and it is just about time to drop it back into the boat. It is definitely in need of a good detail before this season.

Anyone own a boat that has a recommendation on wash, cleaner, polish and wax polish to use on the fiberglass?

DG501 is a marine grade cleaner. I believe duragloss has some boat/rv products but I am not really familiar with them or any other brands out there. I do use DG501 as a sealant on my car though and really like its durability. Not much info, i know. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

I use Orpine for a wash on mine...a lot of people tend to like woody's, collinite, Ultimate paint guard, or opti-seal. It comes down to preference just like for cars.

If you have some oxidization get yourself a rotary and some cutting compounds along with good pads and have at it depending how bad it is. Gelcoat is much more forgiving than clear coat as it's much harder and thicker.
