It's been a busy couple weeks, I've been working really hard and have not had too much time for the car. However, I recently came across something that changed my mind and I went on a search for a different wheel... I searched high and low to find them and they were a challenge to find... but this morning I just went with my dad to go pick them up... and I have to say I am just speechless that I finally nabbed a set. I bought these from a gentleman who purchased a new 2012 Shelby with the PP package and he put on a different wheel and had no use for them!

If your curious to know what these are, they are the 2011/2012 Shelby GT500 Performance Package wheels. They are on available on this car, and they are hella expensive if you purchase them from Ford directly. They measure 19x9.5" in the front and 20x9.5" in the rear. They are very similar to the FRPP wheels, but the color is different and the size is really different.

I was lucky to find this set, they have the stock tires intact too. I'm not crazy about the tires since they are run flats and will drive a little rough at first, but for now I'm thankful for what I found. The original TPMS sensors are also in the wheels - they won't do me any good though so I'll be just yanking them out and putting the 07-09 bans in there.

They won't be going on until later next week since I had to order some suspension parts and I wanted to do everything all at once. I am very excited about them and although I love the RTR wheels, I am very happy with what I decided to go with!

Here is another thing I just put on...

Very cool. Interested in seeing how those wheels will look on an S197

Same here - I am thinking they are going to look great because the lines of the 05-09 are so bold looking and the lines of these wheels are very assertive... IMO I think they will compliment each other well ... just need to wait it out and see though for the final verdict... lol

Unfortunately I couldn't get my brother to drive my car today - I am unable to drive my car because I accidentally cut the tip off my thumb, and its heavily bandaged too... going to have to wait till next week maybe... this blows.

Damn, I can't wait to see those wheels on!! I was really contemplating getting a set but I don't know if I will like them. I think it's going to look awesome!!
