So as it says I have cel, wrench and service advancetrac. When I checked the gauges oil pressure is normal but oil temperature is zero. I drive it 4 miles and all went away but the cel and oil temp was back normal. I stopped for about 20 minutes. Then it all came back in on the way home. Does anyone make a scanner that will read the advancetrac? Also can I drive it for about 35 miles round trip.

That sounds like a computer problem to me or a wiring glitch. Oil temp is not connected to advancetrac.

Most likely an ABS sensor. Has the vehicle been scanned for trouble codes?
The first time it happened 4 months ago it was they could not find any codes. I tried 3 different places the first two found nothing the third a small evap leak came up. He reset all the codes and it ran fine for about 3 months, then it came back I changed the battery it all went away then 4 months later it's back again but I am getting it scanned tomorrow that is if I think i can drive it about 35 miles to the dealer i mean it runs but am worried about doing damage

Logan541,

Maybe too late with a reply but another Mustang owner had a similar problem with the AdvanceTrac light coming on periodically. He traced the wiring harness and found melted wires near the exhaust (towards the rear of the car). Apparently, the harness had enough slack in it to touch the exhaust once in a while and a short would occur, tripping the light. The owner fixed the wires and that stopped the AdvanceTrac light problem. Could be something, could be nothing. :D

HTH,

Chris
