Got some 17x9 with 94-04 offset for my 2011 mustang gt. Found and awesome deal on some 315/35/17 locally and was wondering if they would fit fine with no modifications?

Fit, yes, be a good fit not IMO, the offset is incorrect.

They will fit with no modifications. They will stick out past the back lip but if your only going to be using them at the track who cares. The only other thing is a 315 tire on a 9" wheel is going to have a lot of buldge and you won't be taking full advantage of the 315 width.

yea i was thinking of this also i may just go with some 275 nt 05 drag radials. My car is just a bolt on 2012 gt i doubt i make enough power to need the 315's

im right in a middle i have 3.55. I thought the shorter tire would help out some. My only concern is i think i will be close to needing to shift into 4th before the 1/8 mile and thats mostly whats around here

Nope you would cross the line at the top of third with the 26" tall tire. No worries there.

Those are gonna stick out and look a bit funny. 315's will bulge and not fit the rim well plus be short. 275's will have too short a sidewall too. I'm running 3.73's and I was afraid to go shorter and hit the limiter in 4th.

i got 2 17x10 bullitts from american muscle for like 280. Put 295/45r17 m/t radials. offset from 05-09. Barely fit. Just miss the sway bar and you can put a piece of paper between the caliper and spokes. But the tires are super close to stock height, so it won't mess with anything in the electronics. All for about 700 bucks brand new.

Hook like a sonofabitch. Bolt on 12gt also.

Cheapest setup is used 17x8 05+ wheels with some 275/40/17 ET streets (nt05r's are even cheaper). They will fit and its a very popular setup.

CL is the place, just keep your eyes peeled. A great price for 2 is $50 which can be had. Won't be the prettiest, but they will hold a tire. :)

This is basically the same setup we run on our 2011+s.
They hook VERY well in that size(similar to a 315 on a pre-05) and can really improve 60' times. I believe we've gotten down to low 1.6 60's with the M/Ts in our automatic.

You're car looks great, btw:clap:! Have you run with that setup yet!? I so, what times were you running?
