I don't know what was up with that. My son got excited because he borrowed a helmet and was going to make a pass with me until we remembered that I had removed the front passenger seat.

There is a reason for that.

1) 4.10's
2) stock power
3) cheap 25" street tires
4) forced to go through water box
5) left lane had traction issues(you can see the guy walk out to see)
6) heavy winds coming from left
7) sliding to walk 2 times so I had to get off gas 2 times.. hahaha

Look at ropers worst run.. It was in the left lane and he had to lift because of the wind.

so you take all that away and I should be close to Dons times =-)

Wind was pretty bad, coming straight from the left side and was even more pronounced on the big end of the left lane that was next to that cement wall. When I ran against the black Fbird, I had to lift or the car would have wound up in the wall or him or both. Kingdon is no place to set new records, however, it is a blast beating up on the locals that always want to mess with you on the street. Too bad they only do it once a year.
