My 07 v6 has been making a chirping sound when ever it rained or we had heavy morning dew, but once it dryed up the chirp would stop. Then the chirp started to last all day long with rain or morning dew. After that it got to the point where it never stopped chirping, and then finally the chirping turned into a loud squeal. Loud enough to where you had to turn off the car just to place an order at a drive thur. (very embarrassing)

I've had the car at my mechanic for this pass week and he can't figure out what it is. He installed a new belt tensionor, it didnt chirp until he started it in the morning so he install the old one back on and again the chirp stopped until the morning. He said something about marking the belt or something and checking the balance but that was fine. No cracks on the belt, but i asked him to chagne it out anyways.

Anybody ever experience this, i could really use some help. Im starting to hate driving this car.

Mine used to do that... replaced the belt and it went away. Can't say that is for sure the culprit but was in my case.

Could be any of the following:

Belt
Tensioner
Ilder Pulleys
Or in a manual Throwout Bearing.

Also a quick check to see if it's you TOB.
While idling, push in the clutch, if it goes away, that's your culprit.

I know this because my old 97 GT with the POS t45 had this issue.
Put in a FRPP TOB, and it never happened again.

Then again you are rocking a T5 aren't you?
I don't recall if it is just like the Fox T5 or if it's been tweeked too much.

:idea:No idea what you are talking about...

But i had him change out the belt and it hasn't chirped or squeal since. Im hoping that the problem is solved.
