Hi. I don't even know if I can surprise anyone here, but I still want to share what I've found and what I've been struggling with for 2 years now.
As you know, the market is full of variations of these panels.
These are the ones that I've seen and tried in the installation
PO43BJbnk4BqdvgWgzUo2grnFYI-1920.jpgThis is the very first panel that I installed

And the last option is what I want to stop at
IMG20260223141113.jpg

At first, I wasn't chasing the look, but rather the functionality and normal synchronization of the system with the car.
However, over time, the eye began to find fault with the appearance .
And I started looking for the most suitable option.
And I stopped at the one in the last photo . The difference between the other two similar panels is that the latter option has an additional display about the current climate control settings.
But the following problems are already an adaptation in the car system.
And for the most part, the problems are in the Canbus decoder that comes bundled with these systems.
IMG20260301232148.jpgThis is the very first decoder included with the first panel. As for me, it is the most adapted to the car and even all the buttons on the steering wheel are configured with it, even those that are designed for sync.

Unfortunately, in the last panel, I couldn't adjust these buttons due to the lack of an application to adjust the buttons running on the car tire, but I'm trying to find a way to fix this.
Additionally, there is another problem with the last panel, which is that when connected to the car 's bus, it sends a signal to the dashboard and converts the measurements of the on-board system from metric to imperial and does not allow it to be changed until the panel is disconnected.IMG20260301224743.jpg
Here the problem lies specifically in the Canbus firmware, which is supplied by the manufacturer of the decoder, and so far it has also not been possible to get help from sellers in this direction.
In all other cases, the following problems were encountered with other panels (except the first one) :1) The backlight of the buttons on the car tire on the panel did not turn on (also firmware) 2)The screen did not switch to reverse mode and did not turn on the camera 3)And the heating of the glass mirrors did not turn on . All three problems were encountered on the Teyes panel and its first counterpart, which came without an additional climate display.
That 's all for now. If you are interested and have any questions, I am ready to share.

Hi, I'm a little confused by your write up. Which one of these functions the best? If I'm reading correctly, you like the look of the last one but functionality is lacking? Thanks

Hi. Yes, I prefer the latter option. Because it looks more harmonious compared to the others .IMG20260311202036.jpg
But two Sync buttons are not working on this panel.IMG_20260311_205659.jpg
This is definitely related to the canbus bus built into the panel. And, most likely, I will write software for it to function properly.
But the next problem is that when the climate control panel is connected to the car's bus, my cluster converts the values to imperial, related to the cluster itself.
Since I tried to connect this panel to a 2014 model year Mustang (mine is 2013), the values there were converted to imperial, but the cluster in the settings allowed me to change to metric.
So I want to try to install this cluster in my Mustang to make sure of this for sure.

Hi. Another experiment to solve the problem. I discovered that I have a problem with the instrument cluster. First, I connected my climate control panel to another 2014 Mustang, and the units on his panel switched to kilometers through the settings. Then I tried connecting his instrument cluster to my car, and the same conversion from miles to kilometers started through the instrument cluster settings.
It turns out there are updates for my control panel, but I couldn't download them through UCDC because they seem to have been removed from the server. Maybe this update can fix the problem, but I need to download it first.

Hi ! I'm also interested in the last one "dynavin clone", but I need it to retain OEM heated seat control. Can you confirm this functionnality works (usually theses clones don't) ?

Hi. Well, the last option is more like a clone of a standard panel than a dynavin . There are no physical seat heating buttons, but when you enter the climate section, when you press the heating buttons, it turns on and works.
