So I am planning on installing the CJ Intake with the Mono blade throttle body. I have been following the installs on SVT, but want to know who else here has done the install and have any tips. I plan on porting the intake as it seem to gain up to 10hp/tq.

I am also going to be installing the CJ Exhaust Cams and Boss Valve springs as well. Looking at Kooks Mid length headers to go with.

For the CAI, it looks like the FRRP piece is not ever going to be sold. The Rev Auto is a good option, as well as the Airraid for the 2010. Anything else out there?

I'm thinking about going this route as well. I would definitely get the Rev Auto intake. Possibly their tune as well.

I'd go with the Rev Auto CAI. It's a nice piece.

Any benefit to those cams on boost? Are they difficult to install?? Springs required? I am running stock manifold only revving to 7200

I personally couldn't say. Since the lift is the same as the stock cams yuo could get by with the stock springs IMO. All that said, the restriction on these motors is on the exhaust side so I could only see them helping.

fordracingpartsdirect.com has a cai that goes with this set up.

In you're opinion what do you think the best exhaust cam's would be for a boosted application?

Well it looks like I will be installing the Cams/Springs/Oil Pump Gears/Intake myself. Not paying $1100 in Labor only. I will be using Blazer's Oil gear write up as well as Comp Cams Stage 3 install article. Going to also add Boss Chain Tensioners as well. Will also be installing Kooks Headers at the same time, should be a blast...

I would probably go with with the same cams used in the CJ supercharged 5.0 platforms since this is what Ford deemed worthy to use.

Another option is to call Mike Raushcer at L&M and discuss what your goals are and see what he would recommend.

Please do a detailed write up with pics, tool lists etc when you do the cams. I want to do the same mods but don't have the cojones to do it straight from the shop manuals. Tips and tricks from fellow mechanics are always helpful.

I'm also doing BOSS tensioners, Billet oil pump gears, Comp Cams stage3 NA cams, limiters, Livernois springs, and Livernois Stage II CNC heads. Can search my threads for some details.

Well that's a 500+ HP motor lol ... Sounds like a sick build you have going on!

Do you have any pictures of the porting job on the the throttle body area?
