Anything special involved in cleaning polished aluminum wheels?

I'm not a real involved detailing dude- usually I would just spray my wheels with regular old Meguiars or Mothers wheel cleaner and then spray them off with a pressure washer, then towel them dry. I don't want to damage the uncoated aluminum surface of my new Racestars though. I also don't want them to corrode or anything like that.

Any recommendations?

I use wenol aluminum polish every few weeks. They look way better than new after a few times. The first time will take some time but after that it's just a 5 minute per wheels job.

Mine stained super easy. One wheel was even stained when I got it brand new and took it out of the box. I ended up using Plasti-Dip on them.

Goto autoality, and buy a bottle of Opti Seal and Sonax Full Effect. Clean them with sonax, and seal them with opti seal. They'll stay clean.

Then wash with soap and water.

They are down the street from you on babcock blvd. Tell them you're a steel city stangs member and I sent you.
