Complete Auto To Manual swap 2005-2009 Mustang Gt

Hello all, today I finished the mechanical part of the swap. I kept the auto harness and pcm. In order to follow these wiring instructions. The 12 pin wires, red/light blue and white/pink are crucial for starting the car. As for the speed sensor mine isn't currently working, will work on that soon. Lastly I haven't found any posts about trying to use the auto harness to make a reverse circuit connection, I attempted to do so based off Ford wiring diagram but was unsuccessful. Off the harness that goes to the top of the trans pan, gray/red and violet/white are your reverse circuit. I attempted to use the plug from the manual, but as of today, had no success. Will update when wiring is sorted out.

Okay I know this is an old thread but I am stuck. I just completed the swap and I used a pcm from a 2007 GT Manual and used the harness from the same car. I am currently reprogramming my key so I can try and get the car to turn over but its acting like its stuck in reverse. I can put it in any gear but the car thinks its only got reverse. I have not tuned the car yet or reprogrammed the pcm. Any ideas??

yup, I looked through that last year when I did mine.. The swap is so easy.. I have a thread on here about mine.
